Like a G12, like a G12

I GOT A CAMERA!!

My parents agreed to get me one after my, hmm, insistent pestering of needing a camera to take nice pictures in Australia. Haha~ Yay!! Melissa got one too after dropping her previous one into a cup of green tea, clumsy much. Pfft, and you say I'm clumsy!! My new cam is a Canon G12. Melissa got a Samsung NX10. I LOVE mine, its so cute!! Here's a picture of it!!

I wanted to blog about it yesterday but I was too tired. I came home from Chinatown at 11.30pm, all because of THAT calligraphy man >.< Anyway, I got the camera from, hmm, my mum's usual shop. The guy immediately start asking all about 'what kind of camera you want'.. I got confused so I just said dunnoe. Haha~ He asked if I want a dsr/dsl [no idea what is it called] I said okay cos it sounded cool >.< Haha~ I told Melissa I don't understand anything and they should just call it HD camera!! :)

Anyway, after tons of explanations and going through so many cameras, I decided on this cos

1. Its so cute and small, which makes it easy to carry around.
2. Its cheap, only $780. As compared to the other one I wanted which costs $1200.
3. I LIKE it!!

After getting it, we went to Chinatown to get some CNY stuff and after that we headed home. So tired but SO happy!! :)

On a side note, my parents organised a early reunion dinner on the 22nd and the 23rd. The 22nd was with my dad's side of the family and the 23rd was with my mum. The food was AWESOME on both days. Home-cooked on the 22nd and Expensive 7 course meal. Everything was so yummy and I bet I gained a few kilos just nibbling in the food. I'm currently boy-cotting sharks fin soup [2 years and counting, I think. Not sure if its 2 or 3] So daddy specially told the restaurant to change my soup. Guess what I got.. Abalone Soup!! Total chinese AWESOME!! After dinner, we went for Karaoke!! Stayed till  3, where we got 'chased' out. Daddy allowed me to try some alcohol and I'm officially an alcohol fan!! Just kidding :)

Anyway, I gotta go pack now. Leaving for Australia tomorrow morning at 10am!! I can't wait for the new school year to start!!

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR.MARCUS!!

It's my brother's birthday!! So 'Happy Birthday' but it was actually yesterday so 'Happy Belated Birthday' instead.

My brother/"god" is finally 19. You're going into the army and studying for your SATs at the same time. Busy busy busy!! I just want you to know that I am totally enjoying the fact that you are as busy as me!! Haha~ I CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO THE SAME STATE AS YOU!!~

New Year, New Place, New People

ZOMG!! Its the new year!! 2011!! Year of the Rabbit!! Wow..

I've already been in Australia for 6 months!! 6 'bloody months!! Excuse my language but that deserved to be emphasised on. Time really flies, I just realised a few days ago that, gosh, I'm OLD!! Well, not old like grandma old, but old like 'shit I can drink alcohol legally once I turned 18 in September' old. I don't know whether to be happy or sad or excited. I mean this means like in a few years, well maybe 10?, I have to start working. Eeeeeee!! Damn I feel old..

Anyway, its the new year, so new start?? Nah.. I like my life the way it is, hehe~ But I'll change in some ways. Not saying how, cos I don't want judgement. *Forbidden Word* Haha~ I made 5 resolutions, so cross my fingers, hope I won't break all 5!!

I totally have not been blogging much over the holidays due to ,hmm, certain circumstances. *hint: I didn't felt like doing it* So don't expect any more posts from me. Peace OU-UT!!

Oh, and since I missed the Christmas and New Year Greetings, Have a GREAT 4th of January!!
